This notice covers the website onefourtechnologies.co.uk. Each of our apps has its own privacy notice, linked from its page.
Who we are
One Four Technologies is a trading name of Joe Bennett, who is the controller of any personal data described here. Contact: support@onefourtechnologies.co.uk.
What this website collects
No cookies, analytics or tracking. The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics tools and loads nothing from other companies. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
One setting in your browser. So the intro animation only plays once, the site saves a single "intro seen" flag in your browser's session storage. It's deleted when you close the tab and is never sent to us.
A server log without IP addresses. Our web server records each request: the time, the address asked for (without anything after a "?"), and whether it worked. It does not record your IP address or browser details. If you type an address that doesn't exist on the site, that address is recorded as typed. We use the log to see how many visits the site gets and to spot faults. Entries are deleted after 30 days.
If you email us
If you email support@onefourtechnologies.co.uk, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and help you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us. Emails are kept for 12 months, then deleted, unless we still need them for an issue that's still open.
Our email is handled by Google (Gmail), which may process it outside the UK under Google's own safeguards.
Who we share it with
Our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), runs the server the site is on, which is in the EU. Google handles our email as above. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
